Ann Blackburn Holmberg was in my Bristow Senior Class in 1959. I knew her Mom & Dad very well. In addition to working at the school they ran the Silver Plunge swimming pool many summers in Bristow as we grew up. Ann and her mother also hosted summer evening outdoor parties in their back yard. Some of us wanted to play some very edgy music but Ann's mother discouraged that as best she could. We also went to Parties at Denise Caves house on the inside. She a nice dance room. After the party ended some of the boys and girls were known to get into a little trouble trouble. Police had to give us some free legal advice. Denice Caves had a big car and sometimes a group of us would ride around after the party ended.
I think Ann went to First Christian Church with me growing up. She also spent time at the First Presbyterian Church across the street. Probably our youth groups met together sometimes.
As with other friends I really wish I had kept up with Ann and Jerry over the years.
