Marcia was a great human being with a big heart. We met Marcia because our sons were in the United States Airforce Academy. She was so much help to us when our son passed away in 2004 while serving in the USAF. What agreat sense of humor she had. To the Allison family our condolences. She is rejoicing in heaven.
I met Marcia when I joined the BA Blue Star Mothers. I enjoyed her laughable sense of humor that left a smile on my face for hours. And who could forget her adopted puppy! May the Lord put his arms around your sons and family as you join Ken in heaven
I too was a classmate and friend of Marcia from 1st grade on. We spent many hours playing board games with her Uncle Pete Conley and other town kids. Marcia was a wonderful writer and story teller. Marcia and I were pregnant at the same time however David came early and my son came late. Marcia was the best caregiver for Junior Lemons as well as her mom and aunt Bernice. They are all together now.
I, too was a classmate and friend of Marcia. We both attended the CATOOSA Methodist Church and were in Rainbows together. Marcia was a gifted writer and spokesman. So many will miss her loving and encouraging words. I’m so sorry to hear her boys lost their dad last week and now their mom. Praying this time is filled with precious memories.
Like Lana and Charlotte, I was also a classmate of Marcia's. She was always bigger than life, loved to laugh and was involved in so many activities. I for one hated that she left for California our senior year. We had been very good friends for our first eleven years of school.
Marcia had my mother, Mrs. Johnston, for her Spanish teacher. She loved my mother and my mom had a special place in her heart for Marcia. Every time Marcia and I talked over these last many years since our school days, she would mention my mom and referred to her as Señora Johnston.
David, Russel and Jeff, you were the apples of your Mother's eyes. She was always so proud of each of you and was quick to tell me all about what was going on in your lives. You have had such an incredibly difficult, sad week. To lose both parents so close together has got to be one of the most difficult things a person could experience. Cling to all the positive memories, and know that your mother's love for you was so deep and true.
You and your families will all be in my earnest prayers for peace, strength and comfort.

Marcia and I ride the school bus together for many years. I used to tease her about her red hair. She would get SO mad at me but we were always good friends. She was my life line when my son died in 1998. She helped me with all the arrangements and checked on me daily to make sure I was ok. She was such a blessing. When we were together she always told me how her boys were doing and how proud she was. She will be missed by many. She is surely singing with the angels in heaven. God bless. Love, Lana Carr.
Dear David,Russell,and Jeff,I was very sorry to learn about your dad and now your mom. We had many wonderful years of friendship, your mom and I knew each other since 1960 when we meet in 7th grade at Catoosa and then your dad when he and Marcia started dating. We also lived next to each other in the trailer park on Pine, which was owned by Marcia's dad. Like most of us we would only see each other at various times as the years passed us by,I'm sorry to say. They will both be missed by so very many people, but they are at peace and with Our Lord . I hope it helps you all to know that they were loved by so many. May God comfort all of you at this sorrowful time. May they both rest in peace.
