We are so sorry for your loss.
In 1974, I was 12 yrs. old and Marjorie Elliott opened her home and heart to me. I have never met anyone as extraordinary as she was. She became so much more to me than just a foster mother. She was my loving mom. She did so many things, that she didn't have to do, to enrich my life…that, I otherwise, would never have had the opportunity to experience. I have so many treasured memories that she made possible. She endured so much, and yet gave so much of herself to others. She was glamorous, poiseful, loving, caring, compassionate, strong, wise, thoughtful and always forgiving. My heart is breaking. I miss you so much Mom. I will love you forever. May God bless you and keep you in His arms.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Carlan family during this difficult time. I did not have the fortune of knowing Marjorie as the family had remembered her being, but I get the strong impression she was one heck of a lady. I am sure she is dancing away up in heaven and watching over her family. Blessings to the family who loved her so very much.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I know she is in a better place.
I got the honor of working with Linda Carlan and "Margie" in 2007/2008. It was my pleasure to be around such warm and accepting Ladies, their goodness of their hearts just pours out to everyone around them. I still hold on to my memories of those days. Good night Margie, we will all meet again at the feet of Christ.
Dear Linda and Family, May God give you grace upon grace durning this time of sorrow and grief
I didn't get to know the "real" Majorie, but I have gotten to know her daughter and granddaughter. I know that she must have been an amazing, strong woman because she raised two amazing, strong daughters, and an amazing, strong, and wonderful granddaughter.Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?â??Strength does not come from physical capacity.
