Michael, was such great friend of our son, Brian, and his family meant so much to him. They grew up only a few blocks from each other, and spent countless hours playing soccer, swimming or just watching TV. Both Michael and Brian grew up to proudly serve in the U.S. Army.Michael will be missed by many here…but I have a hunch they are both hanging out together again, watching over us all.
I grew up with Duck with Troop 999. Duck was someone I looked up to, his personality and his character. He continued that into his military career. You will be sorely missed by many SFC Bruck! Until Valhalla brother! There do I see my Father, There do I see my mother, and my sisters and my brothers.
There do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning.
They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla!
Where the brave may live forever!
I was on Michael’s flight coming home this evening and was very touched by it all. Seeing his wife and daughter even as far away as I was sitting on the plane broke my heart for you all. I will be praying for you in the days weeks and months ahead. Many blessings to all of you. Thank you for your sacrifice. Sincerely, A very humbled and gratitude filled stranger
Michael was an amazing individual and Soldier. He was one of my best PVTs back in the day. I was so proud of him. I’m so sorry for the Bruck Family loss.
My deepest condolences to the entire family. Although I never met Michael, Brigitte and I grew up together and I know how strong and close your family is. Lean on each other during this time and know we are all thinking and praying for you.
I wish I could be there to say goodbye. Thank you for sharing SFC Bruck with us. His jovial attitude and ability to bring light into some dreary situations are what I remember and cherish. Rest easy, brother.
And ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of seperation —
The Prophet
To the Bruck Family, I would like to offer my sincerest condolence on the your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you.
I sit here trying to find the right words but it is impossible to do. Michael was a good man who loved his family and friends. Michael had a big heart and a great sense of humor. I am honored to have known him and to be a part of the family. You will be missed brother.
