When I think of Vicki, I think of her kids, since they were such a huge part of her life. She loved each of them dearly, and accepted each one for the unique person they are. We were in a prayer group back in the "Eisenhower" days, when Ann Marie was in the same class as my daughter. Vicki really helped me get things in perspective, since I was the mother of an only child, and she, being a mother of four very different children, had a much wider understanding of how children are mostly just born into their personality, and our job is to help them find their strengths and encourage them.
