Charles Deardorff

Birth Date: May 17, 1958
Death Date: October 8, 2018

Charles “Chuck” Deardorff, 60, was born on May 17, 1958 in Aurora, Illinois and passed away on October 8, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Chuck was a loving husband to his wife Ginger, and a wonderful father to his children Carissa, Charlie, and Chad.

He was very active and loved anything that involved sports (especially when it came to his favorite teams: the Bulls, Bears, Blackhawks, and White Sox) or the great outdoors.  Some of his favorite activities included bowling, frisbee golf, camping, grilling, and family game nights.   But most of all, Chuck lived to serve God by helping others and spreading joy with his big heart and great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Ginger Deardorff; daughter Carissa Deardorff; sons Charlie and Chad Deardorff; sister Beverly and husband Brad Schultz; sister Bonnie Drew; brother Larry Deardorff; sister in law Gail and husband Roger Holien; brothers in law Marty Johnston, Bryan Johnston, and Damon and wife Suzan Johnston; mother in law Caroline Johnston; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 11, at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 4:30 pm – 7 pm.

Services will be at the Rhema Bible Church Chapel  on Friday, October 12, at 12 pm.
