Logan Beaston

Birth Date: June 9, 1989
Death Date: December 2, 2018

Logan Todd Beaston, 29 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his residence.  He was born June 9, 1989 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to his parents, Gary Don Beaston and Debra Ruth Smock Downing.

Logan attended Jenks schools graduating in 2008. He had a passion for animals.  Logan was in Jenks FFA and participated in a summer FFA program in Utah.  Logan showed pigs and won a blue ribbon for his hard work. He also qualified for Horse showmanship in the Utah State Fair.

After graduating Logan became a fitness trainer. He loved training and working out daily for hours. Training came to an end after a very serious motorcycle accident.  Even after his accident, motorcycles were still one of  his greatest passions, along with dirt bikes and his monster truck.  Logan would drive around town looking down on other cars, and rescuing people in bad weather pulling them out of ditches.

Logan had an amazing gift of talents and skills, most working with his hands.  There was never a job too difficult or too big.  Logan could do everything, from working on motorcycles, vehicles, construction, demolition and remodeling. Another passion Logan discovered was welding, so much so he recently became a certified welder. Once he started a project he was a perfectionist, and would work until completed, often late into the night.

Logan cherished the vacations with his friend Connor and family which included skiing and cruises.  Both Connor and Logan were recently planning there next cruise trip together.

One of Logan’s less dangerous passions was playing the guitar, he took it everywhere and played on breaks, and down time for anyone that wanted to listen or not, regardless, you were going to hear his songs.

Logan is survived by his mother, Debra Downing and significant other, Jerry Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his father, Gary Beaston and wife Denise of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one brother, Luke Beaston of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one sister, Casey Beaston of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; one step-sister, Chantel Heller of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Joe and Ruth Smock of Ponca City, Oklahoma; paternal grandmother, Janet Beaston of Claremore, Oklahoma; two uncles, Donald Smock and Fiancee Kristin Macey of Edmond, Oklahoma and Chuck Beaston of Claremore, Oklahoma; his life long best friend, Connor Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma and numerous cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charlie Beaston.

  1. Logan’s effect on me.

    Written by: Justin Watkins

Some of my favorite memories with Logan involve snow days and us driving around all hours of the night helping pull people out! It was such a simple time being young and care free. Logan had a presence about him that just made you want to be around him it was a kindness and joy for life! During school he would greet everyone of his friends walking to classes. This is the quality that made us close, that and our pastion for things that go fast! Logan and Luke got me my first job, which if It was not for that job I would not have 2 beautiful baby girls Kinley and Bailey. The kindness and passion Logan has for life will live threw me! Rest In Peace Logan till we meet again love you Brother!

  2. Deborah, your son has your smile. Such a handsome young man. Know that you will meet again, it breaks my heart for your loss. No parent should bury their child. But God only calls the best. I hope he meet’s my son Ron . because they will be there to greet us when it is our time. I love you and prayers for your family

  3. He was so amazing words can’t explain how big his heart was….

  4. Logan’s up beat personality, his contagious smile , his respect for others and his willing to help others when needed. He will always be remembered. You have my sympathy for your loss.
May memories of Logan surround his family and friends, and give you strength in the days ahead.

My dear Nephew there was so much we needed to do together, but we never had the time. However, we knew no matter how busy we were, we had the love of family to keep our bonds strong, I love and miss you Logan.
