Clara Amelia Dyer

Clara Dyer, age 91, passed from this life, Monday, April 18, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Clara Amelia was born November 26, 1930 to Alfred and Elsie (Heupel) Higgins at home in El Reno, Oklahoma. Clara married Earl Dyer in 1975. They were married 47 years. Clara will be remembered as a sweet and kind lady. She worked as a probate court clerk at the Tulsa County Courthouse for 25 years. Clara and Earl loved to travel. Even though they have been throughout Europe, Tokyo, Hawaii. Lake Michigan, Hawaii was their favorite place to be. Clara liked pineapples. They belonged to a square dance club in Broken Arrow when they went to Europe to dance. Clara and Earl had a good life together. Clara was a member of Southwood Baptist Church in Tulsa. Clara will be dearly missed by her husband Earl Dyer; children, Gary Walker and wife Michaelyn, Robert Walker and wife Paula, and Karen Jo Heimbach and husband Craig; grandchildren, Erica Dempsey, Nathan Wisdom, Brian Walker, and Kim Nino; 8 great grandchildren; brother Paul Higgins and wife Mary; sister Pauline O'Neal; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Clara is preceded in death by her parents and 8 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the Floral Haven Visitation Suites in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life service will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
