Olga McKenzie died Saturday, July 17, 2010. Â She was born January 23, 1920 in Canada and moved to the United States when she was three years old. Â She spent her youth being very involved in church and playing sports. Â During WWII she played for a professional womenâ??s baseball team called the Buena Park Lynx. Â She later married the love of her life Carl O. McKenzie. Â The two were married for over 50 years until his death in 1997. Â Olga was a loving woman who dedicated her life to serving the Lord and sharing His love with others. Â She was an active member of Christian Womenâ??s Club and spoke at various functions. Â In addition to being a loving wife, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Â She had a bright spirit and a beautiful heart. She always offered a helping hand and shared her joy with everyone she met. Â Olga will be truly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Â Â Survived By:Â her daughter Diane Haspell and her grandchildren Jennifer Burton, Carl McKenzie, J.C. Haspell, and Calynn Haspell survive her. Also survived by two great-grandchildren Connor and Jaxon Burton. Preceded in death by her husband Carl O. McKenzie and her son David G. McKenzie.
