Robert Lawrence “Larry” Anderson
October 13, 1959 - September 27, 2011
Robert Lawrence “Larry” Anderson was born at St John Hospital in Tulsa on October 13, 1959. He lived successfully with Down syndrome for almost 52 years. He transitioned on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2011.  He worked within the community at various work shops and businesses. Through his challenges he still developed a strong work ethic and a great sense of humor. Larry’s most treasured possession was his leather wallet filled with work earnings, his photo ID card, family pictures, business cards, and donated dollar bills from family and friends…all scheduled for soda pop purchases. In addition to be prized billfold he kept his walkie-talkie close for quick use.  He is survived by his mother Diana Lane Lambert and his step-father Alan, his brother Kirk, his sister Dolly (who was a part of his caregiver staff for the past two years) and his baby sister Bonny, his grandma Ruth and his favorite aunt Pat. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his step-brothers Rock and Ronnie.  Many others helped as part of his care staff through the years. Some of these included Wendy, Chris, Amber, Tony, Angel and Holly. We appreciate their care and devotion.  Larry was a man of good character with a charming demeanor. He made friends wherever he went and was a blessing to all he touched and will be missed by many.
