Samuel Paul Strickland, 1 year old of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed from this life suddenly on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sam entered this world to the joy of his parents, James Collie and Taylor Renee Strickland, of Claremore, Oklahoma on May 1st of 2020. They were so proud of their baby boy. Sam was a beautiful little boy who loved playing outside with his toys, sliding down the slide, playing with his Uncle Jack, and riding on the 4 wheeler and lawn mower with dad. He was full of energy and always happy. Sam left this world to the open arms of Jesus on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Sam is survived by this mother and father; grandparents, Sherry Harrington, Joann Strickland and Darren and Misty Strickland, all of Claremore, Oklahoma; great-grandparents, Phillip and Carrie Harrington of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Darllas Smith of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Paulette Strickland of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Don and Sherry Ott of Granbury, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. following the visitation at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel..
