Victor Howard Foutch was a veteran of the Coast Guard, two years in active duty and eight years in the reserves. After a short courtship, he married the love of his life, Janet Marie LaRosee by asking her to go and cook for him in Oklahoma. The courtship and love lasted 61 years until Janet left this earth October 22, 2015. His joys included his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending time with extended family, and many friends, giving fits to anyone who would listen. Part of his daily routine was raising the American and Coast Guard flag every morning. He loved sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee solving the world's problems. He also loved his yo-yo collection and watching University of Tulsa football. More importantly he loved being called POV (poor old Vic). He loved sharing his unending wisdom. He could often be heard saying "pretty is as pretty does.". If you asked him how he was doing he would often respond with "I have a smile on my face, a song in my heart, and a spring in my step". There are so many more to fondly remember. His everlasting legacy will continue on through his family, friends, and anyone blessed to have met him. The family smiles when they think of him now reunited with his love, Janet. They can imagine her rolling her eyes as he once again is giving her fits.
