Wanda M. Luna passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was born on October 30, 1935 in Gainesville Texas to LeRoy and Dona McKinney. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, in Dallas, TX, Wanda attended Baylor University. She moved to Dallas where she met her husband, the late James B. Alexander. She was a devoted homemaker and together they raised three daughters. Wanda loved spending time with her treasured friends, playing bridge and meeting with her weekly bible study group. After settling in Tulsa, OK, Wanda met and married Ed Luna. They enjoyed over 30 years together and were active members of First Baptist Church in Tulsa. Wanda was a loving mother and grandmother. She was happiest when she was watching her grandchildren’s accomplishments and attending their activities. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents LeRoy and Dona McKinney and her husband James B. Alexander. She is survived by her husband Ed Luna; her children Pam and John White of Houston TX; Mary and David Chesher of Oklahoma City, OK; and Suzie and Tracy Phillips of Tulsa, OK. Grandchildren Marshall White, Claire Chesher, Samantha Phillips and adored granddog Maddie. She is also survived by Ed’s children Tom and Cheryl Robinson; and Bob Luna and their children. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Wanda will be honored in a celebration of life on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home, followed by a burial service.
