Wilma Beatrice Peterson Stall, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 13, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. Â She was born on December 10, 1927, to Alberta Knight Peterson and Harold Peterson in Eureka, Kansas. Â She married her beloved husband, Carl Edwin Stall, on December 27, 1943. They celebrated 58 years of loving marriage before Carlâ??s passing in 2002. They lived in Liberal Kansas where they farmed and she was a school bus driver.Â In 1955, they moved to Tulsa and there, Wilma was a seamstress and made draperies for Dickinson Goodman. Â In 1970, she and Carl moved to Catoosa, where they lived in the home their children built for them, for 32 years. This home was pinnacle for family gatherings over the 32 years they lived there. After Carlâ??s passing she moved to the Baptist Village in Owasso, OK in 2002, and lived the rest of her life independently in a community that she adored her and she loved. She had a love for helping others through cooking, crafts, games and being an incredible seamstress. Â Her family and friends were her daily focus and she never knew a stranger. Â Her love for The Lord was unbreakable and she was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow, OK. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Carl, two brothers and one sister; the late Leslie Peterson of Lake Isabella, CA; David Peterson of Collinsville, OK; and Gladys Peterson of Kansas. Â She will forever be remembered and loved by her children, Launey Stall and wife Martha of Tulsa, OK; and Jerry Stall and wife Regina of Broken Arrow, OK. Â She is also survived by seven treasured grandchildren, Kandi Stall of Catoosa, OK; Mike Ashworth of Tulsa, OK; Keith Stall of Catoosa, OK; Jennifer Stall Smith of Inola, OK; Cynthia Stall Townsend of Tulsa, OK; Kara Stall of Catoosa, OK; and Kevin Stall of Checotah, OK. Â She was preceded in death by her late grandson, Kevin Ashworth of Tulsa, OK. Â Wilma was blessed and survived by five great-grandchildren, Christopher Stall, Katie Palmer, Ryne Ashworth, Kendra Rittgers, and Saundra Rittgers. Wilma was preceded in death by her late great-granddaughter, Amanda Rittgers. Wilma is survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Wilma touched the lives of many people with her kind and generous ways, her great sense of humor, and her unconditional caring and love of others. Â She will be missed dearly by all, but will never be forgotten through the impact and footprint sheâ??s made on each of our hearts. Friends and family are invited to attend Wilmaâ??s celebration of life. Â Visitation and viewing will be Monday January 16, 2012 from 2:00 to 9:00pm, and the service will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at 10 am at Floral Haven Funeral Home, in the Chapel, 6500 South 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.Â A family dinner will follow at the Floral Haven Family Center. Â In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wilmaâ??s name to the American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org.
