He always had a story. I remember he would always share his time when he was working and building the storage units. The challenges and the fun. He would always give me the Spanish version or rather Spanglish. Whether we were watching football or Fox News...Frank was a hoot to be around. I remember when we went to Buccee's and just laughed about all the bathroom stalls and gas pumps and food. So many fun times, good memories, good food, laughter and lots of Jesus.
Frank and Sandra were frequent visitors to our house when I was living at home. For my two brothers and I it was always like Christmas when Frank and Sandra came to visit or we visited them.
Frank was definitely one of a kind and I’m fortunate to have known him but more importantly I loved him dearly.
I had a crush on him when I was 12 and he endured my wanting to be as close to him as I could. I sat in his lap, stood as close to him as I could. I loved him so much. I was able to tell him about my crush years later.
I can’t be there for his memorial but I carry him with me and I’m excited to know I’ll see him in heaven.

Frank was Frank — a loving, kind, and faithful example of God’s grace. We’ll miss the joy you brought the world everyday and through every challenge.

What a Man, what a legacy. Frank had such a large influence on my life that is hard to sum up in a few words. He is truly an example of a life well lived, what it means to live a life of honor and integrity, and the world is much better because of him coming into this world. I will miss him so much! Even now I can hear his unique gravelly voice on the phone, calling me up and saying something like "This is Frank in the real world, have you figured it out yet? You better get moving if you want to keep up!" And even with all his knowledge and accomplishments, Frank was also one of the most humble and contrite people, always speaking in awe of all his blessings, especially when he spoke of his family and his faith.
I am going to miss Frank, but I am grateful for having known him!
