The first day I met Sileithyia, we locked eyes from across the fellowship hall. I had just started helping teach with Ms Courtney. “Little Bit” as I quickly nicknamed her spotted a particular butterfly ring and from that very day on, she insisted on wearing “our” butterfly ring every Sunday and sitting by me or literally in my lap. Which I did not mind one bit. I loved our bond. She asked me one Sunday why I used a cane and I explained to her that I had a couple of boo boos in my brain that make it hard for me to walk. She then told me something that I echo in my brain everyday. She looked me square in the eyes and said “You won’t need that in heaven because you will run real fast.” “Little Bit” Ms Donna will see you in heaven when I get there.
Dile was the light in our eyes. We loved her with all our hearts, may she fly high in the heavens. She will be forever missed🕊️🙏
Praying for the family and friends. I will miss her almost every morning when she came in she would give me a hug and when she left at the end of the day she would tell me bye.
