Jennifer entered my life as my roommate when we were both freshmen at PCC. She is the reason that my husband and I first started dating, and she had lots of humerous stories to tell on that subject! ??She had an amazing laugh, and a delightful, giddy perspective on things. While I only knew her from a distance after college, it was always so refreshing to see her or speak to her on the phone (the too few times that we did). She was just so "Jennifer," and if you know her, I think you'll know what I mean. She was an amazing friend, who touched my life in a very special way. I love her, and can't wait to see her again someday.â??'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'â? Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." II Corinthians 12:9â??Shannah Smith
Jenny brought light to a room with her smile, good humor and happy nature. She was a loving and faith filled person and a joy to be around! She loved her family and spoke fondly and proudly of her brothers, mom & dad and grandma. I worked with Jenny at Jostens in Topeka, KS from 1999-2002. We shared an office and traveled to workshops together. This was during the time when she first met and fell head over heels in love with Erik. Jenny was giddy with joy and so happy to have found the most perfect man for her! I got to share in her excitement of being in love, planning her wedding and hearing about her hopes and dreams. One very important dream for her was to become a mother and I am so happy that she was able to. Jakob, you were so, so very loved before you were even born! Your mom will continue to love you forever and always!!! I know heaven is a little brighter with our dear Jenny there. Love and miss you. Prayers for all the family. -Betsy Prockish
Jennifer was so thoughtful and appreciative of good music. Her art and decorative skills were so creeative. Every Easter that we used the rock scene it reminded me of her talent and that with every stroke of the brush she must have felt what it was like at Calvary. I will miss her but know we will see each other soon in heaven. love, Panda Patton
In the few short years that I knew Jenny, she was truly a witness to all. There is no doubt where she stood when it came to her faith or her love of God. Erik was very blessed to have her as his companion and together they were raising a wonderful son. I see so much of Jenny in Jakob and look forward to seeing him grow and mature. Losing one you love is such a difficult part of life but there is no question where Jenny is today. (Praying for peace and comfort for all of the family.)Karen Haselton
Praying the God of all comfort brings peace, grace and comfort to you, Jakob and your family at this time. Renee and Rick Goughler
Jennifer was a Godly young woman and a very devoted mother to Jacob and wife to Eric. I am so sorry that the Lord needed her so quickly in her life. She will have no more pain now and we will all see her someday when it is our time to graduate to heaven. God always has a reason to call his own home. Maybe it is to get some family member to attend a Bible believing church and grow more in the Lord. One day after the time of grieving grows dimmer, you may see the reason. The Lord never takes you up to a big trial and leave you there, He always goes with you through it.Wilma Williams
Aunt Janice and Uncle Joe had the joy of hearing dear Jenny's first cries outside the delivery room in August of 1976. My dear Grandmother Myrtle Kerns Price had gone to her heavenly home the day before and Jenny's entrance brought great laughter and renewal to us. Jenny has blessed our family for 38 years and has left a Godly legacy for her beloved husband, son, and all she touched. We will miss her terribly but rest in knowing she is with her Sweet Savior. Alleluia!
