I had the pleasure of meeting Johnnie in 2011. We worked together for three years and I enjoyed his stories about his younger days (many times over). He was always pleasant and that dry humor would get me every time. He said he was blessed to have survived all these years. He always spoke so sweetly about Janet and his children. He was a bit stubborn at times, but always ready to help when the need arose. He will be missed by many, as he touched so many lives over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. When I was a little girl, I spent lots of time at the Trickett home. When Aunt Violet would go shopping, or do anything for Johnnie she did not do for me, I would pout and/or cry. I told her she loved Johnnie more than me. Johnnie always got a kick out of this. He will be missed!!
