I am Margaret Ann Pope Ehlers. My father, Dick Pope, was brother to Julian's father - Uncle Bill to me. I remember my cousin Julian when we visited the farm and visited Uncle Bill and Aunt Edie.

I want to extend my love to you and my sorrow over Julian's death.

I live in Tulsa, but because of my age and the Covid issues I chose to not come to the service for Julian.

I am sorry that I couldn't come. Our daughter died several years ago and the presence of people who loved her and loved us at her service meant so much to us.

I pray for God to take you through each step now and for His great, good grace.

Julian was a wonderful person and a great example of God's love for people. I was very blessed to have been a member of the same Sunday school class. Julian always had a way of sharing stories about his life that would bring new meaning to whatever lessons we were studying. I will really miss him! I really appreciate the live streaming of the funeral today it was a great service! Praying for God's comfort and peace for Phyllis and the family.

I’ve struggled with whether to attend Julian’s service and have decided that due to some health issues I’m dealing with right now and the virus I guess I’m too chicken to risk it. It is doubly sad because he and I go back 40 years and over those years we just drifted apart. When my mother passed away, after years of not seeing him, he attended her funeral. That is just one example of his consideration. He was always a thoughtful and generous friend. Among my many regrets is that I didn’t do more to maintain contact with him. When my time comes I hope to have the opportunity to make up for that. God bless Phyllis and the boys and all his extended family that I know will miss him so much.

We are so sorry for family loss. Went back to our Sharp school days there our best memories then we transfered to Rockale class 65. Did we change everything. Leon remember the guys all riding in his 1963 red pontiac. Then it was so neat that we got meet the love of his life Phyllis at our 45 class reunion. Our hearts are heavy. Love Leon and Coty Jo Love

Julian was a wonderful person, always smiling and always friendly. I enjoyed him so much in the Sunday school class at SBAB. He had a unique sense of humor and always had interesting input. RIP Julian say hi to Stacy T
