Aaron Christopher Nance's Obituary
Aaron Christopher Nance, 44, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on March 17, 2026. He was born on July 27, 1981, in Wichita, Kansas, to Keri Lynn (Nance) Orr.
Aaron was a devoted father to his two children, Carter and Aubrie, and being their dad was the center of his world. He found immense joy in coaching Carter in baseball and basketball—moments he cherished deeply. He was always present and supportive in Aubrie’s activities and took great pride in all her endeavors.
A passionate sports fan, Aaron loved University of Kansas basketball, especially during March Madness. He was also a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Dallas Cowboys. One of his most treasured recent memories was attending a Dallas Cowboys game with his son, Carter. Beyond sports, Aaron enjoyed collecting baseball cards, watching movies, and had a remarkable knack for quoting them. He never missed a holiday without reaching out to his family and remained deeply connected to both his immediate and extended loved ones.
Aaron had a special place in his heart for his dogs, Sammy, Phoebe, Minnie, Rizzo, and Sydney, and he adored them as part of his family.
He is survived by his children, Carter Nance and Aubrie Nance; his parents, Keri and Craig; his grandmothers, Carol Orr and Patti Orr; his aunts, Rhonda Hanna (Neal), Kim Eaton (Terry), Lori Sumner (Dale Dvorak), and Sharon Livingston (Terry); his uncles, Scott Orr (Shirley), Mark Orr (Julie), and Eric Orr (Michelle); great aunt; Karen Rowland and numerous cousins including Joshua Riley, Ryan Sumner, Eric Eaton, Shelby Eaton, Nicole Eaton, Casey Dvorak, Katie Young, and Brandon Young. He is also survived by a host of cherished extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Kathy Rowland, Jean Rowland, and Richard Orr; uncle, Richard “Dick” Rowland; his cousin, Dustin Dvorak; and his beloved dogs, Sammy and Phoebe.
Aaron will be remembered for his deep love of family, his unwavering support for his children, and the joy he brought to those around him. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
