Abigail Lucille Jones, a vibrant and adventurous soul, left this world on July 5, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of joy and cherished memories. Born on March 11, 1995, Abigail lived her life to the fullest, embracing every moment with an infectious enthusiasm and a heart full of love. She graduated from Edison High School in 2013, marking the beginning of a journey marked by determination and success. In 2017, Abigail proudly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Science (BS-HDFS) from OSU, a testament to her dedication and thirst for knowledge. Undeterred by challenges, she pursued her passion for caring for others and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from OU in 2019.
Abigail's love story with her high school sweetheart, Cameron Jones, was one of unwavering devotion. They embarked on their journey together on November 4, 2012, nurturing their bond through the years. Their commitment deepened, leading to a joyous engagement on December 17, 2016, and a blissful union on July 14, 2018, when they exchanged vows and promised to support each other through thick and thin.
Abigail had an insatiable wanderlust and a deep love for exploring new places. She found solace and excitement in the bustling streets of New York and the picturesque shores of Cancun. Whether it was strolling through Central Park or basking in the warmth of the Mexican sun, Abigail's travels brought her immense happiness and created treasured memories.
An avid reader, Abigail had a particular passion for mysteries. She would often immerse herself in captivating novels, eagerly unraveling the intricate plots and guessing the outcomes. The written word held a special place in her heart, igniting her imagination and providing a sanctuary of tranquility and fascination.
Television shows and movies were a source of great delight for Abigail, and she had an undeniable adoration for Disney films. Among them, Toy Story held a special significance, capturing her heart with its enchanting storyline and timeless messages. Abigail's inner child shone through as she reveled in the magic and wonder that animated films brought to her life.
Abigail cherished her role as a mother above all else. The love she poured into her children was immeasurable, and her nurturing spirit guided them through life's challenges. She embraced the joys and responsibilities of motherhood with grace, ensuring her children's happiness and growth with every step.
In the company of her beloved husband, Abigail found immense pleasure in attending concerts. The couple shared a deep passion for music, and their bond was further strengthened by experiencing the magic of live performances together. Their most recent concert in Vegas, featuring Shania Twain, Brooks and Dunn, and Reba, held a special place in Abigail's heart as a cherished memory of their shared love for music.
Abigail also enjoyed watching sports with her husband, eagerly embracing the excitement of game days. While she had attended Oklahoma University, her heart belonged to the orange-clad Cowboys of OSU. She supported her team with unwavering loyalty and enthusiasm, wearing the bright orange with pride.
Abigail Lucille Jones will be fondly remembered for her zest for life and her unwavering love for those around her. Her infectious laughter, warm heart, and playful spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of joy, adventure, and an enduring love that will be cherished by her family and friends for generations to come.
Abigail is survived by her loving husband, Cameron Jones; her children Bryson Lee Jones, and Daxton Charles Jones; her parents Jeffery and Jill Foster; her sister Natalie Foster; her in laws Rodney and Brandi Jones; sister in laws Baylee Jones, and Kaylee and Isaac Nonan; and brother in law Codi Jones; her paternal grandparents Charles and Barbara Foster; maternal grandfather Frank Milks; and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever hold her dear in their hearts. As we mourn her loss, let us also celebrate the incredible person she was and be inspired by her passion for life.
She is reunited with her paternal grandmother Jerita Foster; and her maternal grandmother Sandra Milks.
