I knew Alan when he was the news director at KVOO. He was one of the nicest, sweetest men you would ever want to meet. A perfect gentleman. I'm so glad he found someone to love and be loved by. R.I.P. Alan Lambert. You will be missed by many.
Alan was the kindest man I ever knew. Regardless of the situation, he was a gentleman with a gracious heart.
Most of all, Alan showed me what true-love is for another. I can still see the love in his eyes, I can still hear his voice in my ears, I can still hear the sound of his footsteps coming down the hall, I can still hear his "Good Morning", I can still feel his hugs, I can still feel the true-love he gave to me.
Regardless of what I do or where I may go, I will miss this beautiful man, whose life I shared for nearly 40 years through our dating and marriage. We were known as 'when you see one, you see the other'. I love that1 He was my best friend in all things.
Alan can only be explained through love. Love is what he was and is to me. He came to me many years ago through God's GRACE. I know without a shadow of doubt, one glorious and golden day we will be together again.

My condolences to Alan's entire family. I will always be grateful to Alan for the guidance he gave me as I started my career in radio at KVOO. He has remained a friend over the years and I shall miss the wonderful conversations we have had reminiscing about the good old days in broadcasting. Rest in peace my friend.
we are so sorry to hear that our friend in radio and in life has left us,but we feel sure he will bring the news lambert style to heaven.love to the family
To really know Alan was to love him. A man of great integrity, honor and devotion. A humble man that was a dearest of friends to me and who was a true mentor regarding life in general. When he spoke and in his actions, Alan always showed interest, compassion and love. No matter what the topic in life, he always seemed to have a good perspective on it.
When sharing the highlights of his career in radio; the personalities, politicians, and news makers of the day, he could hold my attention for hours.
I always admired Alan’s sense of Duty, Honor, County. He always showed respect and honor to veterans, and law enforcement as well. He was a true patriot.
But above all, Alan was an example of love. He knew and loved his Lord Jesus Christ. He cherished and loved Diana beyond measures. He was devoted to his children and family, giving care and love to each one.
I can’t image all the gallons of fresh ground coffee that Alan, Diana and I shared in there living room over the years. We even came darn close a couple of times of curing world hunger and calamity as we know it. Their living room became know as my Ft. Lambert. My refuge from the outside world for an hour or so.
I have been truly blessed to have known Alan for the past 20 years and I will miss and cherish all those special moments it time we shared.
