Alan Presberg's Obituary
Alan Presberg, 81, of Broken Arrow, died on Monday, September 8, 2014. He was born on February 24, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Merrill and Augusta (Kaminsky) Presberg. On October 15, 1974, Alan and Bonnie Glidewell committed their lives to one another, in Los Angeles, CA. Alan had moved to California with his family when he was a young man, and stayed there most of his adult life, having worked as a film editor in the motion picture industry. In later years, he and his wife moved to Oklahoma to be closer to her family. There he was an art enthusiast, having run a gallery in the Brady District in Tulsa for several years. Alan is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie, children, Dayna Klock, and her husband, Jon, of San Diego, CA, and Scott Presberg, and his wife, Leslie, of Palm Springs, CA, grandchildren, Amber, Cameron, Adam, and Sidney, and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A reception honoring his life will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Family Center.
