Alan Douglas Sanstra's Obituary
Alan Douglas Sanstra, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away May 22, 2022, at the age of 79. He was born June 27, 1942, to Roy and Lola (Dickson) Sanstra.
Alan spent his entire professional career working in the oil industry for Skelly, Getty, Western Crude negotiating contracts for pipeline projects all over the U.S., eventually ending his 30+ years of service with Texaco retiring in 2000 in Denver, Colorado.
Alan enjoyed spending time with his 3 sons and 4 grandchildren, he loved golf, football, working on cars, home repair, and playing with his dogs.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Roy Sanstra and Lola Sanstra (Dickson), and his brother, Don Sanstra.
He is survived by his sister Pat and her husband Larry Thompson of Wickenburg Arizona, his children and their spouses, Troy and Sandy of Broken Arrow, Wade and Susanne of Larkspur Colorado and Boyd and Teressa of Littleton Colorado; and his beloved grandchildren Nick, Jessa, Melanie and Tate (all of Colorado); and many other family and dear friends.
There will be a celebration of Alan’s life from 11:00 am ~ 1:00 pm, July 11, 2022 at Floral Haven Family Center
