Aletha Ann Reese's Obituary
Aletha ‘Letha’ Ann Reese, 68 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in a Tulsa hospital with her family by her side. She was born December 16, 1950 in Washington, Missouri to her parents, Samuel Eugene Jones and Betty Jean Delbruegge Jones. As a child Letha grew up as a military brat living in places all over including Chicago, Illinois, London England, and Mountain Home, Idaho, later settling in Oklahoma. Letha married the man of her dreams, Dale Reese on February 14, 1982 in Verdigris, Oklahoma and they have shared in over 37 beautiful years together.Letha was a high school graduate and worked as a waitress back in her younger years where she met Dale at Daley’s Restaurant in Claremore, Oklahoma and then became a homemaker. She was a very talented crafter and a greeting card creator. She also loved cooking for and spending precious time with her loving family.Letha is survived by her husband, Dale Reese of the home; two daughters, Chandra Hall and her husband Mark Crowl of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Christina Ennis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one step-son, Dave Reese of Perkins, Oklahoma; three step-daughters, Debbie Mejia and her husband Bill of Perkins, Oklahoma, Sherrie Kreger and her husband Kevin of Ponca City, Oklahoma and Linda Pool and her husband Frank of Perkins, Oklahoma; one sister, Debra Dye of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Betty Jones and one step-daughter, Karen Reese.Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Lacey officiating. Burial will take place at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
