I am a third-grade teacher at J.W. Sam Elementary. My students "adopted" Mrs. Flanagan as a pen pal. When you cleaned out her room at Rolling Hills Care Center, you might have seen some letters my students wrote to her over the school year. I saw Mrs. Flanagan on Friday, June 8th when I took her a birthday gift. A few days before that, I was having lunch in Catoosa with a group of friends and we dropped by Rollings Hills to sing "Happy Birthday." We took a photo with her. Since this might be the last photograph taken of her, I would love for you to have a copy, so please contact me. Mrs. Flanagan was always sweet and friendly to me, telling me to come visit again.
Dan, James, and Sam, you had one of the most loveable christian mothers in the world. She was a great mother-in-law to me. There must be a great celebration going on in heaven right now.Betty
