Alice Faye Freeman's Obituary
Alice Faye Freeman was born February 11, 1937 to Lola Mae and Horace Scott Hunt Sr. in Choska Bottom,Oklahoma. Her family later moved to Red Bird,Oklahoma where she attended Miller Washington School and First Baptist Church. Alice united in marriage to Charles Freeman November 3,1956 and three children were born. Alice later became known as "Maw maw" and loved to garden, decorate,cook and bake for her family; especially during the holidays. She will always be remembered for her Gumbo and Red Velvet cakes. Alice loved to study the bible and share the word of God with others. In Tulsa, she attended St.John Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess. She later attended Grace Fellowship and Home Church until she was no longer able to attend.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Charles and a baby boy. She leaves to mourn her children, Donald R. Freeman, Glenda Gray (Terrance),and Tracy Price, her siblings Rev. Leroy Hunt (Eula),JoEtta Lanier, Shirley Ali (Carlos ),Vanessa Paul, Carol Hunt, Gwendolyn Hunt, Horace Scott Hunt Jr. (Ida), Brian Hunt (Sharon), Alberta Townsell, and Afred Curry, her grandchildren,LaTasha Strong,DelRico Bethel, TerricoBethel,DeAndre Bethel,Curtis A. Price (Ivanna),Ashley Price,Jenna Willyard (Jack),Devon Freeman, Malea Freeman, great grandchildren, Kailyn Strong, Tahkari Bethel, Amirah Freeman, Amani Freeman, Jamison Willyard and Harrison Willyard, and a host of nieces nephews and other relatives that will miss her deeply.
