Alice Mayfield's Obituary
Alice Ann Mayfield, 79 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in a Tulsa hospital. She was born March 23, 1940 in McAlister, Oklahoma to her parents, George Puckett and Marjorie Courts Puckett. Alice married the love of her life, Gene Mayfield on July 3, 1958 and they have shared in over 60 years together.Alice is survived by her loving husband, Gene Mayfield of the home; three sons, Ron Mayfield and his wife Patty of Owasso, Oklahoma, Greg Mayfield of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Richard Mayfield of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandsons, Russ, Ryan and Ayden Mayfield; one granddaughter, Sydney Mayfield; two great-grandchildren, Axel Mayfield and Harper Mayfield; two nieces, Crystal Puckett-Devinish and Shelly Mayfield; one nephew, Mark Mayfield; one brother -in-law, Jim Mayfield and his wife JoRenae; and a host of friends.Alice was dedicated to her family, active in all her boys events, including sports, Boy Scouts and PTA (so the boys couldn’t get away with anything). She was deeply devoted to her faith and church, attending Will Rogers United Methodist Church for over 35 years. She operated her own business helping small businesses with their secretarial and office needs. She enjoyed her time with Gene on outings to the Ozarks along with spending time at home with her grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Will Rogers United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
