Alice Faye Risley, age 74, passed from this world on May 31, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She entered this world and began her legacy on October 22, 1950. She was born to Waymond Anderson and Becky Jane (Hunter) Anderson in Gore, Oklahoma, Alice lived a life full of grace, strength, love, and joy.
Alice was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Known for her strength and independence, she carried herself with dignity and kindness, always striving to be the kind of woman others admired. She had a deep love for the color red and bright hues that matched her vibrant spirit.
A woman of simple pleasures, Alice found joy in the little things—browsing yard sales, spending time with her beloved family, and enjoying the beauty of everyday life. She was generous, caring, and always proper, with a love for getting her nails and hair done that reflected her pride in self-care and presentation.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. Alice loved God deeply and found comfort and inspiration in Gospel radio, which often filled her home with uplifting melodies and messages of hope.
Alice Faye Risley leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and grace. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Ray Risley; and 12 siblings. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Charlene Terrell and her husband Jimmie; grandchildren Andrew Terrell, Timothy Terrell, and Monica Stout; great grandchildren Autumn Stout, Summer Stout, and Johnny Stout, III; sister Wanda Holeman; along with other family members and friends who will forever be enriched by having Alice in their life.
