Alisia "Lisa" Kay Shepard's Obituary
Shepard, Alisia “Lisa” Kay, 43, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Lisa was born June 28, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Robert and Alice Sims. She married Bobby Gene Shepard July 5, 1996 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sims and brother, Randy Sims. A memorial service was held Tuesday, November 28, 2006, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, it is Lisa’s wish that donations be made to The American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society. The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to St. Francis Hospice, the doctors and others which made it possible for Lisa’s last journey to be as peaceful as possible.Survived By: husband, Bobby of the home; two daughters Amie Sims and Jessica Smith of Tulsa; and one son, Teddy Slate, also of Tulsa; her mother Alice Sims of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; grandmother Florence Bowman of Eakly, Oklahoma; one sister, Jeanne Thompson and husband Harold of Tulsa; one brother, Reggie Sims and wife Deann of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; seven nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
