Allen Dale Jones' Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Allen Dale Jones, who left this world on February 3rd, 2025 in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Allen was born on December 29th, 1954 in Wichita, Kansas, to his loving parents, Clyde Ellis and Donna Jean Jones.
Allen was a master machinist, a man of tireless work ethic, and the quintessential Jack of all trades. If something was broken, Allen could fix it, and he had the remarkable ability to create just about anything with his skilled hands. Beyond his professional talents, Allen found joy in the simple pleasures of life—bonfires under the starlit sky, quiet moments spent fishing, and, above all, cherishing time with his family.
He is survived by his better half, Sonya Carr; his children, Justin Jones and Amber Jean Jones; his brother, Garry Jones; and his beloved grandchildren, Kya Delgado, Taylor Jones, and Christopher Jones. Allen's legacy continues through his great-grandson, Samuel Delgado, and countless nieces, nephews, and other family members who held him dear.
Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Faye Jones; his parents, Clyde and Donna Jones; his brother, Sonny Jones; and his sisters, Katheryn Smith and Brenda Cochran; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Elise Heinrich.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, February 10th from 9:00 AM to 12:45 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Floral Haven Memorial Garden, Garden of St. Paul. A reception to celebrate Allen's life will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 at the Floral Haven Family Center.
Allen's spirit, kindness, and industrious nature will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
