Allene C. Criner's Obituary
Allene Cecil Criner better known as Mom & Grandma was born September 5, 1925 in Tipton, Oklahoma, daughter of Ralph and Ollie Hudspeth. She departed this life September 15, 2012 at the age of 87 after a short battle with cancer. After Allene's mother passed away when she was about six (6) years old, she had a very difficult childhood whereby she lived with various family members until she was old enough to be self-supportive. In spite of Allene's hardships during her childhood, she was hardworking, beautiful, modest, caring and loyal to her husband and family. As a young woman she was employed as a waitress, but shortly after her marriage to Glenn (her husband of almost 50 years), she was a devoted house wife. This devotion was returned and exhibited by Glenn who provided daily support and care for Allene all of her life; especially during the time of her sickness.
