Allison Opal Hale's Obituary
Allison Opal Hale passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2007 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was only 35. Born November 15, 1971 in Miami, Florida to Lynnwood and Paula (Cavanna) Lemon, Allison attended kindergarten in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Later, when her family moved to Oklahoma, Allison attended Broken Arrow Public Schools and eventually obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Tulsa. Allison was an active musician in both high school and college perusing both the piano and violin. Allison married John Chandler Hale, a University of Tulsa professor, on August 31, 1996 in a beautiful evening ceremony at the Tulsa Garden Center. Allison and John have three beautiful, loving children whom will sorely miss their mother and friend. Allison was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend who enjoyed traveling, painting, playing piano, and making everyone smile. She will be greatly missed and no one will forget her fearless fight against her illness.Survived By: her husband, John; her children, James, Julia and Robert; her parents, Lynnwood and Paula Lemon of Broken Arrow; her brother Christian Lemon of Memphis, Tennessee; her sister Amanda Lemon of Oklahoma City; and her parents-in-law Carl and Sue Beth Hale of Tulsa. A service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, at Floral Haven Chapel in Broken Arrow, followed by an interment at Floral Haven Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
