Alma Rhea Hayes, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away March 19, 2017 at the age of 75. She was born January 17, 1941 to Custer Chesser and Minnie (Mitchell) Chesser in Stringtown, Oklahoma. On September 15, 1962, she married Kenneth J. Hayes in Frederick, Oklahoma.She was preceded in death by her parents, Custer and Minnie Chesser; brothers, Arthur Jewel Chesser and Charles Chesser.Survivors include her husband, Kenneth J. Hayes; son, Kenneth J. Hayes, II and wife, Lisa; daughter, Angela Boucher and husband, John; four sisters, Anita Pothorst, Ollie Price, Dorothy Stokes and Eleanor Price; three brothers, Leon Chesser and wife, Dee, Bill Chesser and wife, Linda and James Chesser and wife, Hope; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Hayes and Justin Hayes; sister-in-law, Sally Davidson and husband, Dan; brother-in-law, John Hayes and numerous other relatives and friends.Viewing will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow with Pastor Scott Rogers officiating.
