Alma Louise Raines' Obituary
Alma Louise Raines, born Monday, April 19, 1926 in Maumee Searcy Co., Arkansas to her loving parents, Homer Lee & Louiza Mae Davenport; went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. A resident of Vinita for many years, Alma enjoyed many things in her free time, such as fishing, canning, crocheting and even making candy but what she truly loved was the time she shared with her family which she loved so dearly. Fond memories will always be cherished of the crocheting Alma made; from blankets, doylies and bed spreads especially to welcome a new family member home from the hospital. Or the sweet candies she made by hand every holiday as a special treat for her family and friends that she loved so dearly. She will be deeply missed by everyone that had their lives touched by her. Alma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Noel Raines; her loving parents, Homer Lee & Louiza Mae Davenport; grandson, Bobby Curtis Jr.; Brothers, Amos Davenport and Leon Davenport. Almas is survived by her loving children, Jerry D. Raines & wife Shelia, Retta Burgess & husband George; her beloved grandchildren, Matthew L. Raines & wife Bobbie, Colby D Raines, Justin L. Burgess & wife Brandy; four dearly loved great grandchildren, Jerrik Raines, Dawson Burgess, Devin Raines and Tyler Burgess; her two dear sister, Joretta Marcussen and Imogene Neff & husband James and numerous other family members and friends.
