I want to Express my deepest condolences to his children, parents, family and friends.
Alvin has been especially close in my heart for more than 23 years or so. We reconnected 5 years ago which turned into phone conversations several times a week. There’s no words to fully Express how much I enjoyed our conversations, and hard to believe not seeing his name on my phone. I looked forward to evenings to talk to him. He was my person! He talked a lot about his kids. He would call with excitement to tell me about Cheyenne, and her amazing accomplishments, his son, daughter in law and new baby. Sorry, I cannot remember all names. I know all unfortunately, my mind is a bit cloudy right now. His 4 year old. He told me many stories of each one of his kids and loved each and every one. I loved that man and we shared wonderful memories back in TN. Years ago. And amazing phone conversations the last 5 years. I have always and will always keep him and our memories in my heart. I love you, Alvin.

Our sadness and grief of the loss of our beloved oldest son is unbelievably heartbreaking. There are no words to Express our heartache. Alvin, was one of a kind , his actions was a true testament for his love he had for myself, father, brother and sister. Alvin, was strong willed and compassionate in many areas. I am first cousin to Alvin’s mother. We are all saddened by Alvin’s passing. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for the family. I pray God gives you strength to deal with your grieve and pain. I think of all the loving arms to embrace him to lessen my sadness. My sister was bragging on what a sweet person he was when she had met him.
