Amos E Eddy's Obituary
Eddy, Amos E. passed away April 16, 2007 in Tulsa, OK. He was born on March 13, 1916 to James and Ellen Eddy in Warner, OK. He married Virginia Ellen Weber on September 19, 1936. Amos was a WWII veteran. He served as a Staff Sergeant with the 45th Infantry Division. He received the Purple Heart as a combat infantryman in Sicily and Italy. Amos later went to work for American Airlines and retired after 33 years of service. He was an avid golfer and sportsman.Survived By: He is survived by three children Donald L. Eddy, Nelson E. Eddy and Jacqueline (Eddy) Brashear; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia, five brothers, one sister, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Clarehouse 7324 E. 49th Pl. #3 Tulsa, OK 74145. Services will be held 12:30 PM Monday, April 23, 2006 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
