Marie was one of the sweetest, most gentle women I ever knew. I used to look forward every year to her red plum jelly which she so graciously shared with us. When I married and lived far from Oklahoma, she continued to send a Christmas card each year and if I somehow missed sending a card one year, she remarked on missing the photo of my children in her card to me the following year. She was a special lady and and I will always remember her with much fondness.

Marie was special to me in many ways and I will always remember her kindness, sweet disposition, and love she shared with her family and friends.
