Andy Carl Beckstrom's Obituary
Beckstrom, Andy Carl died November 9, 2005 at age 53. Born to Margaret and James Beckstrom on Feb. 21, 1952, in Wichita, KS. He is preceded in death by both. Andy is survived by his wife, Christine Jacobsen-Beckstrom, his daughter Amee Beckstrom of Wichita, and his step-children Daniel and Katie Carson. After graduating from the University of Nebraska, Andy had a long career in advertising, broadcasting, and sales. Andy was dedicated to Oklahoma Freemasonry and its charities. He held positions and distinctions as: 32? KCCH, Director of 31?, Past Master Petroleum Lodge #47 1998, Past President of District 12 1999, Past District Deputy Grand Master 2000, Pursuviant 2003 Ok. Grand Lodge, Secretary of both Daylight Lodge #542 and Saba Grotto, Senior Warden at Tulsa Lodge #71, and Member York Rite. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 10am-9pm, Floral Haven, 6500 S. 129 E. Ave., Broken Arrow. Rites were held at the Tulsa Scottish Rite, 6355 E. Skelly Dr., Wednesday, Nov.16, 2005, 10am. In remembrance of Andy, those who wish may make contributions to the Masonic Charity of their choice. Survived By: wife: Christine of the home, Tulsa, Oklahoma; children: Amee Beckstrom and partner Leon Carr, Wichita, Kansas, Daniel Beckstrom, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Katherine Carson and Partner, Jeff Swan, Tulsa, Oklahoma; Granddaughter Brianna Beckstrom; Aunt Wilma Beckstrom; Cousins: Rock Beckstrom, Connie Beckstrom, Swede Beckstrom, and Karen Beckstrom; Adopted Siblings: Jeff and Linda Jones; Adopted Son: Josh Salisbury; and host of friends and family. Preceded in death by parents: Muggs Beckstrom and Jim Beckstrom, and Uncle John Beckstrom.
