Andy Louis Morris, 72, of Tulsa, OK passed away at his residence on March 17, 2020. He was born April 9, 1947 in Jenks, OK to Amos and Dorothy Morris. After graduation from Jenks High school, Andy enlisted in the Marine Crops, and Read Obituary

I worked with Andy MANY years ago. I found him to be always ready with a smile and laugh. I had NO idea he had been in combat in Vietnam. Nor did he act like the typical Marine. (and I really respect the Marine Corps) He was never boastful or arrogant, but always took time to listen to concerns of others. I know we lost a wonderful human being.

So my first encounter with Andy was when we both were doing searches for 5th Commbn members on the internet for a reunion in Kansas City. When we met it was like meeting an old friend and a brother. The first encounter was the best encounter as we had a good time and members of the 5th Commbn who showed up with us enjoyed themselves also. He had a great smile, love the laugh And drank a beer or two. Remember that Andy has now joined the Marines on parade at Heaven’s Gate and is looking down upon us awaiting for our arrival to relieve him of his post to move on. Love you brother and Semper Fi.

Oh Nancy. My mom and I love your Andy! He added so much to my mom’s life while staying there in your home. He could take a witty remark from my mom every night he stood in the kitchen sink area when he’d come home! Truly some great memories mom and I shared in your niche there.
