Ann Marie Phillips' Obituary
Ann Marie Phillips, 73 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Ann was born September 22, 1944 in Manchester, New Hampshire to John and Florence Hanna. Ann graduated from Miami High school in Oklahoma in 1962. After graduation she married Curtis Phillips and together the couple had two daughters, Patty and Teresa. Ann worked as a school crossing guard for the City of Tulsa for several years; but the best job she had was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother. The most important thing to her was family. Her nephew, Michael, came up with the nickname “Ninnie”. She enjoyed cooking and baking; she was the best cookie maker ever. She cherished every moment she could spend with them. Ann was an avid sports fan; she especially loved the LA Dodgers and the OU Sooners. she will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. “She’s our sugar cookie making, wacky cake baking, Dodger baseball watching, Sooner Magic Cheering machine! We all love you so much Ninnie! “We were so thankful to have had you in our lives” not just today, but everyday!Ann is preceded in passing by her parents, John and Florence Hanna. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 55 years, Curtis Phillips; daughters, Patty Cook and her husband Eddie, of Cleveland, OK; Teresa Haynie and her husband Shawn of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Evan Cook and his wife Rhi of Glenpool, OK; Tara Near and her husband Justin of Claremore, OK; Anna Hall and her husband Sebastian of Glenpool, OK; Tiffany Hall and her husband Joey of Lusby, MD; great-grandchidren, Carson Haynie, Ryne Near, Presley Near, Everett Hall, Taylee Hall, Zoey Cook and Trinity Hall; sister, Pat Burkhardt and her husband Bill of Tulsa, OK; brother John Hanna and his wife Debbie of Miami, OK and numerous other family members and friends.In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Donnie Ray Crawford Legacy Foundation :http://www.donnieraycrawford.com/Scholarship.aspx Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Floral HavenFuneral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 27, 2017 at Floral Haven Chapel
