Anna Colleen Burden's Obituary
Anna Colleen Burden, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away May 30, 2018 at the age of 64. She was born on July 28, 1953 to Howard Weir and Norma (Jones) O’Brien in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Webster High School and worked for the US Postal Service for 25 years. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and she enjoyed taking her husband Terrie to the casino and traveling with him on many wonderful adventures. Her favorite place to be was at Lake Tinkiller, relaxing with her brother and sisters and spending time with them doing many things. Her favorite activity was traveling the countryside watching her grandson Steven (Little Dude) wrestle, she was so very proud of her son Steve and grandsons Steven’s wrestling accomplishments. The thing she was most proud of was the success that her son Steve has had in his life. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Weir; mother, Norma (Jones) O’Brien and sister, Sandra Strow.Survivors include her husband, Terrie Burden; son, Steve Allen and wife, Teri; grandchildren, Steven Allen, Jacob Knutson and Raegan Bryant; siblings, Betsy Hart, Kathy Molina, Howard Weir, Patty Heinritz, Sherry O’Brien and Candy O’Brien; step-son, Tim Burden and his wife and children, Jackie Burden, Shae Burden, Jacey Burden and Trinity Burden; many nieces and nephews and three great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Sunday, June 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 4th at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Rutherford officiating.
