Burklin, Anna Marie's Obituary
Anna Marie Burklin (Narcomey) died on April 15th, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She passed peacefully in her place of residence at the age of 73 years old.
Anna was born on August 18th, 1951 to Raymond Narcomey and Frances Lewis Narcomey in Checotah, Oklahoma. She was raised in Eufaula. She attended Sequoyah Indian Boarding School. She was the youngest of her family. Her now late brothers were Buster Narcomey, Jacob Narcomey, Jerry Narcomey, Elliott Narcomey, Michael Narcomey, and Jackson Narcomey. Her sisters Maxine Flannery and Brenda Holmes have since passed on as well.
She was preceded in death by her husband of many years and their children, Joseph Michael Burklin, Ben Burklin, Robin White Bennett, as well as their grandchildren, Jay White and Olivia Burklin. She is survived by grandchildren Bonnie Bennett-Tyer, Johnny Bennett III, Amelia Jane Burklin, and great-granddaughter Blair Tyer. She has four cousins still living Christine, Shirlene Ade, Augustine Williams and Rosalie Narcomey-Palmer. Anna had a fond love for her family, friends, and her cats.
Her service will be on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, at 12:30 pm at the Floral Haven Funeral Home and Crematory in Broken Arrow, OK. Her ashes will be laid to rest alongside her husband as well as her son.
We ask in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alley Cat Allies, an organization that Anna had supported to help save cats and kittens.
She was beloved by all, especially the cats she helped so selflessly for years. She will be deeply missed.
