Mrs Hood was my 2nd momma. On Sundays, she and Mr hood would treat the family(including me!) to double scoop ice cream cones from Braums. During the car ride, we’d all sing together and laugh hysterically. Mrs Hood was the kindest, most loving person. Joan is my very dearest friend of 52 years. Mrs Hood would have us recite “Betty Botter bought some butter. But, said she, my butter’s bitter. If I put it in my batter, it will make my batter bitter. So, Betty Botter bought better butter to make her bitter batter better!” My wonderful memories with Mrs Hood and her family are endless. ❤️
