1948-2019 Anna Louise Hopper Noe left us too soon on December 13, 2019 after an illness. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at 3 p.m., Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edna and Paul Hopper, Jr. on December 11, 1948. Ann attended Tulsa Public Schools. She married the love of her life Harold Noe, June 30, 1967 in Tulsa where they made their home and raised four children. Their marriage was blessed with Steve, Rebecca, Matt and Sara. There are many fond memories of Ann. One her Mother loved to tell was how Ann never missed anything. Ann announced to her Baptist Grandmothers where her Momma and Daddy hid their gin and the kind of cigarettes they smoked. Ann loved to write poetry and stories. Her sister remembers the library teacher at Hawthorne Elementary reading a short story, with the author being Ann Hopper. That love for writing continued into her adulthood. A few people receiving gifts of poetry she had written just for them that they will cherish. Not long ago at the annual Family Easter gathering the children were blessed to hear one of Ann’s stories. Ann loved people and was a people watcher in doing so she could really tell a funny story about something she had witnessed. When Steve was 16, he was sound asleep, and he woke up to his Mom paddling him with a bed slat and when he asked why, she replied “you probably did something!” Matt said he loved his Mom’s sense of humor. That she taught him that no matter the situation you can to turn something bad or difficult into laughter. Many more memories could be told, and we know that they will continue to be told for generations. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, niece, aunt and friend. She leaves a legacy of love and the gift of humor to all who were blessed to have known her. She was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Paul Hopper, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 52 years Harold Noe; son Steve Noe and wife Cindy; daughter Rebecca Miller and her husband Mike; Matt Noe and his wife Andrea; daughter Sara Noe; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; sister Paula Hopper; sister Mary Duvall; brother Philip Hopper and his wife Becky; brother David Hopper; sister-in law Debbie Noe Williams; brother-in-law Johny Noe and wife Ingre; sister-in-law Sharon Noe Chaffin and husband Michael; aunt Glyn Hopper; her beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of beautiful loving friends.
