Anna Lynne Stewart Parker
March 19,1939 died June 25th, 2024
Anna Lynne was born in Coffeyville, Kansas, the only child of Evelna Putt Stewart and Marion Leo Stewart. She was raised by her Grandparents, Philip and Lena Putt in Yukon, Ok. She graduated from Yukon High School in 1957 then attended Oklahoma City University where she pledged Delta Zeta Sorority and was a Kappa Alpha Rose. There she met Edwin W. Parker II whom she married on April 14, 1960. They moved to Tulsa in 1964 where she attended the University of Tulsa and finished her degree in Speech Pathology. Ann was an accomplished pianist and organist and played for many church choirs in the Tulsa area. She loved TU football, basketball and the Union High School Marching Band. She was active in Tuloma Chapter of the Eastern Star and The International Order of Rainbow for Girls.
Between traveling the world with Ed and playing golf she found time for her favorite hobby, photography; even having some of her pictures published in Golf Magazine.
Ann is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Bob) Joyce of Tulsa and Margaret Valenti of El Paso, TX. Grandchildren, Leigh Anne McLarty, Mary Joyce, Sophia Valenti and Nicholas Valenti, her sister JoAnn (Dallas) Geist of Rocky Ford, Co. and 3 great-grandchildren.
Ann lived at Covenant Living at Inverness for 11 years. A very special thank you to everyone who worked with her and was so kind and helpful. Thank you.
