Anthony "Tyler" Curtis' Obituary
Anthony “Tyler” Curtis, 18 – was born into this world on July 27, 1986 as the son of Phillip and Angelia Curtis and the little brother of Amanda Kaye Curtis. Although his time on Earth seemed too short, he left family and friends with a true sense of what is important in life. His loyalty and devotion of those he loved and cared about will forever be cherished in our hearts. He will be most remembered by his compassion, sincerity and heart of gold. Tyler proudly graduated from Broken Arrow High School in May 2005 and began living his dream while embarking on many new discoveries as a young adult. His passion included import cars, listening to music and lifting weights. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. he became the proud uncle of his niece, Scarlette Noelle Brown, just days before his journey on Earth was completed on May 21, 2005. Tyler had the ability to love. He could be all things to all people and was very accepting of everyone. He always chose to see the good in people and give his love and trust willingly. Tyler, we have been so blessed by the time we had to share together. We love you and will miss you, as your beautiful soul’s presence will forever be with us. You have been a gift from Heaven and for that we are so very thankful. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Wirth. He is survived by his Mother, Angelia Boshuizen of Broken Arrow and Father, Phillip Curtis of Owasso; Stepparents, Liz Curtis of Owasso and Robert Boshuizen of Broken Arrow; 2 Sisters, Amanda Curtis of Tulsa and Kindle Curtis of Owasso and 1 Brother, Conner Curtis of Owasso; Grandparents, Don and Viola Curtis of Tulsa and Carolyn Wirth of Bixby, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, 1:00 PM at the Collinsville Church of Christ in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Tyler’s temple was laid to rest in the Garden of Devotion at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
