Anthony "Mike" Michalski's Obituary
Major Anthony F. “Mike” Michalski, age 94, flew his last mission and slipped the bonds of earth on Thursday, December 22, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe, and wife Patricia of Paddy’s Irish Pub fame. He is survived by his sister Trudy and has enjoyed the bounty of family with 7 children, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and related nieces/nephews from Muskogee. A member of the 55th Strategic Reconnaissance Wing, Mike retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service and continued in civilian life with McDonnell Douglas, Rockwell, and Chrysler Aviation logging thousands of flight hours until he retired in his 70’s. He loved to play tennis, shoot hoops, bowl, and was still mowing his grass at 94.
