Antonio "Tony" Nistal's Obituary
Antonio “Tony” Nistal, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, born Friday, February 26, 1937 in Havana, Cuba to his loving parents, Antonio Nistal & Hortensia Cuartas; went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma with his loving family by his side. Antonio or better known as “Tony” by his family and friends has been a resident of the Tulsa area for over twenty years after relocating from Florida with his beloved wife to be closer to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tony enjoyed many interests if his in his free time such as being active in the Knights of Columbus when he lived in Florida and here as a Knight with the Knights of Columbus Council #6606, attending mass at St. Benedicts Catholic Church, wood working, photography and oil painting. What Tony was truly passionate about was his family and friends that he loved so dearly. Fond memories will always be cherished of Tony, especially his big heart and the art he created. He will be deeply missed by all those who had their lives touched by him. Tony is preceded in death by his loving parents, Antonio Nistal & Hortensia Cuartas. Tony is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years, Cecilia Nistal; his two loving daughters; his six dearly loved grandchildren and his seven precious great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 12:30PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in the Chapel.
