April Tetrick's Obituary
April Diane Tetrick, 75, of Tulsa, went to be with her Lord, on Sunday, December 25, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM, on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. She was born on June 21, 1941, in Hollis, Oklahoma, the daughter of Randall and Gladys (Birdwell) Abernethy. On May 18, 1976, she married the love of her life, Bill Tetrick, in Cache, Oklahoma. April is survived by her loving husband, Bill, two sons, Brett Averett, and his wife, Cheryl, of Knoxville, TN, and Barry Averett, of Checotah, OK, two daughters, Vanessa Christenbury, and her husband, Charles, of Glennville, GA, and Colleen Tetrick, of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren, Heather Serbert, and her husband, Roland, of Double Springs, AL, Terry Christenbury, of Savannah, GA, Jeremy Dean Christenbury, of Glennville, GA, Jeremy Robert Tetrick, and his wife, Conilee, of Ft. Riley, KS, Clayton Christenbury, and his wife, Chaley, of Glennville, GA, great-grandchildren, Ryland Tetrick, and Charlotte “Charley” Christenbury, Breanna and Jane Sebert, brother, Ronald Abernethy, of Dallas, Texas, and numerous other extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, niece, Christie Abernethy, and sister in law, Jean Abernethy. Memorial donations may be made in April’s name to John Hagee Ministries, P.O. Box 1400, San Antonio, TX 78295.
